Acclinate Appoints Dr. Ivor Braden Horn to Board of Directors to Advance Health Equity Mission

[Birmingham, AL, October 28, 2024] — Acclinate, a leader in mobilizing health equity through technology and community engagement, is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Ivor Braden Horn to its Board of Directors. Dr. Horn brings deep experience as a pediatrician, health equity researcher, and healthcare executive to the board at a pivotal moment, as the company doubles down on its mission and expands its impact across the healthcare ecosystem.

Dr. Ivor Horn’s 20+ years of experience community-based primary care physican inform her work as both a health equity researcher and healthcare innovation expert. She has held senior and executive leadership positions across health systems, academic institutions, and entrepreneurial environments – most recently at Google, where she led initiatives to incorporate health equity into product development. Prior to Google, she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Medical Officer at Accolade and directed impactful programs for at-risk populations at Seattle Children’s Hospital. She specializes in leveraging technology and data to address social determinants of health, driving organizational change, and improving health outcomes.

A nationally recognized expert in health equity and healthcare innovation, Dr. Horn has authored of numerous peer-reviewed publications on health communication and health disparities. She has also presented to the FDA and served as a medical expert on national media outlets such as the Today Show and Good Morning America.
